Position Overview

MRJ Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent health technology organization dedicated to making a significant impact on lives. As they transition from external product development to an in-house engineering model, they are establishing a new product engineering team.

In this context, we are seeking a skilled and proficient QA Engineer with expertise in Cypress to play a pivotal role in defining the future of the company's product offerings.

Compensation includes a salary of £45k plus bonuses, with a flexible four-day work week.

As a champion of quality assurance throughout the organization, you will have the opportunity to implement innovative testing strategies and offer valuable insights. Your capability to comprehend user requirements, make informed decisions based on data, and collaborate seamlessly with business analysts and developers is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with diverse teams (Mobile, Web, Backend, UX, QA, Product, Business Analysis) to create new functionalities.
  • Establish and refine the Minimum Viable Product (MVP), integrating user feedback into the process.
  • Contribute to both the strategic direction and execution of product development.
  • Adopt agile methodologies, explore new tools and processes, and prioritize rapid feedback loops.
  • Utilize user insights and data to enhance product features.
  • Engage in company-wide initiatives aimed at resolving common challenges and elevating product quality.
  • Guarantee product excellence by employing QA testing methodologies and industry best practices.
  • Participate in regular one-on-one sessions with your engineering lead for mentorship and professional development.

  • Proficient in Cypress, automation testing, JavaScript, Typescript, Playwright, and frontend testing.
  • Committed to quality assurance and delivering outstanding user experiences.
  • Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, agile work environment.
  • Has a background in software testing and quality assurance.
