Velocity Recruitment is seeking a Construction Project Supervisor to oversee a significant refurbishment initiative focused on affordable housing. The successful candidate will collaborate with another supervisor and report directly to the Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise all site operations for a planned refurbishment project targeting affordable living spaces.
- Ensure the execution of works in occupied homes, minimizing disruption to residents.
- Directly report to the Project Manager regarding project progress.
- Coordinate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and various stakeholders.
- Uphold high safety standards across the site.
- Ensure that project milestones are achieved within the designated timeline and budget.
- Tackle any challenges or issues that may arise during the refurbishment process.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a construction supervisor in residential refurbishment projects, especially in occupied homes.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Capacity to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management.
