We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Doctor in Spinal Surgery to join our team at University Hospital of North Midlands. As a key member of our Spinal Department, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and complex spine surgical service to our patients.
Main Responsibilities- Provide leadership and expertise in spinal surgery, including degenerative and complex spinal surgery, and spine emergency surgery.
- Manage and be responsible for continuing care of patients with spinal problems in partnership with current spinal surgeons.
- Attend Regional Spine Network meetings as directed by the RSN lead.
- Participate in a 1:10 on-call rota.
- Completed at least 12 years full-time postgraduate training (or equivalent gained on a part-time basis) or have equivalent experience and competencies.
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- PHD/Masters Degree.
