Company Overview: Gearing Recruitment Solutions Ltd is a prominent player in the water contracting sector, specializing in large-scale projects within the AMP 7 & AMP 8 frameworks.
Position Summary: We are currently seeking 3 x MEICA Commissioning Engineers / Leads to oversee critical commissioning activities on various high-value projects.
Project Scope: The projects involve substantial MEICA refurbishments, redevelopments, and new constructions for Water Treatment Works (WTW) and Wastewater Treatment Works (WWTW), with project values ranging from £2 million to £10 million.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate daily on-site MEICA commissioning operations.
- Generate regular project updates and comprehensive MEICA Commissioning Completion Reports for assigned projects.
- Ensure timely production of all necessary MEICA commissioning documentation, collaborating with Technical Documentation teams to facilitate the prompt delivery of Operations & Maintenance manuals.
- Oversee the seamless integration of new assets into existing systems, ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
- Supervise and finalize off-site testing and pre-commissioning tasks conducted by suppliers or other parties.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar MEICA commissioning capacity.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
- CITB (SMSTS) and/or CSCS certification for safe management practices.
- Ability to meet deadlines across multiple projects while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Possession of a valid full UK driving license.
