Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to maximize residents' functional abilities.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to professionals, carers, and relatives on occupational therapy interventions and strategies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Lead activity teams to design and implement meaningful leisure, recreation, and sensory stimulation activities for residents.

Requirements:

  • Professional registration with the College of Occupational Therapists (COT).
  • Experience working with adults with complex needs, including neurological conditions and tracheostomies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with residents, carers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve high-quality care outcomes.
