About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing assessment, planning, and intervention to service users within the Croydon Assessment and Liaison team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate and contribute to a programme of therapeutic group work that promotes wellbeing and recovery.
  • Prescribe basic equipment or refer on for more specialist equipment/major adaptations.
  • Provide occupational therapy leadership for students, designated junior staff, and volunteers through supervision and appraisal.
  • Work with the OT leadership team and wider MDT to contribute to and lead on defined projects aimed at improving the experience of inpatient service users and carers.

Person Specification

We are looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist with relevant experience and qualifications. You will need to be registered with the relevant registration body and have a Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy.
