Key Responsibilities
- Conduct electrical testing and inspections to guarantee safety and functionality.
- Identify and resolve faults in electrical systems.
- Lead projects, assigning tasks to team members and maintaining clear communication with management.
- Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Complete necessary documentation, including certifications and job cards for all completed tasks.
General Requirements
- Possess a proactive attitude and strong client liaison skills.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to travel across the country, including occasional overnight stays.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying work locations and schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at job sites upon completion of work.
- Comprehend technical drawings, schematics, and method statements.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 qualifications.
- City and Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Test and Inspection) certification.
- Understanding of Health and Safety Regulations.
Additional Information
- Full driving license and ECS card are required.
- IPAF, Enhanced DBS, ECS Gold Card, and SSSTS certifications are preferred.
Work Environment
This position involves working on the road, with the office located in Bedfordshire. Regular visits to the office may be necessary for materials and coordination.
