About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at Dreywood Court, a vibrant and friendly Extra Care scheme in Romford. As a Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising a team of care workers, undertaking spot checks, audits, and providing specialist care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of care workers to ensure high-quality care and support is provided to our clients.
  • Undertake spot checks and audits to ensure compliance with care standards and regulations.
  • Provide specialist care and support to clients, including learning disabilities, as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as GPs, social workers, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a residential or domiciliary care setting, with a focus on supervision and team leadership.
  • A formal care qualification, such as QCF/NVQ Level 2 or 3, is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and shifts.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
