We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager - Advisory to join our team at Michael Page Finance. As a key member of our tax advisory group, you will play a crucial role in delivering expert tax solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with HMRC on clearance applications, enquiries, and other tax matters
- Draft reports and letters of advice on tax advisory issues
- Prepare calculations to support tax advice
- Liaise with clients and attend meetings with team members
- Train and review the work of junior team members
- Provide support to Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory Group
- Advise on corporate reconstructions, investor reliefs, staff incentive schemes, and remuneration planning
- Prepare research & development claims, VAT returns, and SDLT returns
- Advise individuals on IHT planning and CGT mitigation
- Review corporate tax computations and returns
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Professional tax or accounting certification
- Proficiency in tax advisory and management
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Exceptional client service skills
- Proven ability to develop and implement tax strategies
