Tax Advisory Manager

Advanced Resource Managers Limited is seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisory Manager to join our team. As a key member of our advisory group, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice to our clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and identifying opportunities for tax savings.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, ensuring timely and accurate clearance applications, enquiries, and other tax-related matters.
- Draft comprehensive reports and letters of advice on various tax advisory issues, providing clear and concise guidance to clients.
- Prepare detailed calculations to support tax advice, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
- Liaise with clients and collaborate with other team members to deliver exceptional tax advisory services.
- Train and review the work of junior team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality tax advice.
- Provide support to Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory Group, contributing to the development of tax strategies and policies.
- Advise owner-managed businesses on remuneration planning, succession planning, and other tax-related matters.
- Prepare research and development claims, VAT returns, and SDLT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Advise individuals on inheritance tax planning and capital gains tax mitigation, providing expert guidance on tax savings opportunities.
- Essential experience in corporate taxes, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
- AAT or ACA/ACCA qualification, with a willingness to pursue CTA certification.
- Knowledge of other areas of tax is beneficial, but not essential.
- Excellent teamwork abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- A keen interest in learning and developing tax knowledge, with a commitment to staying up-to-date with tax laws and regulations.
