We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our Orthopaedic Scrub team at North Downs Hospital in Caterham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting our surgeons during complex orthopaedic procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons during orthopaedic procedures, including hip and knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciate ligament repairs
- Provide exceptional patient care and support, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients undergoing surgery
- Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and best practices in orthopaedic surgery
- NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions
- Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics, including hip and knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciate ligament repairs
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently
- Flexible and positive attitude, with a warm, considerate, and empathetic character
- Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable, but not essential
