About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our Orthopaedic Scrub team at North Downs Hospital in Caterham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting our surgeons during complex orthopaedic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons during orthopaedic procedures, including hip and knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciate ligament repairs
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients undergoing surgery
  • Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics, including hip and knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciate ligament repairs
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate, and empathetic character, with excellent communication skills
