Assessment Social Worker Opportunity


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assessment Social Worker to join our team in Northampton. This role offers a unique chance to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and families.

  • Manage a caseload of families, providing in-depth support and fostering positive outcomes.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, reports, and chair meetings to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to ensure a coordinated approach.
  • Develop and deliver parenting programs to empower families to reach their full potential.
  • Uphold statutory duties and demonstrate a strong understanding of relevant legislation.


Requirements:

  • A qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • Registration with Social Work England (SWE).
  • Experience in conducting specialist PAM assessments.
  • Adept at using a psychodynamic framework to understand family dynamics.
  • A skilled facilitator with experience delivering parenting programs.
  • A strong safeguarding record and experience giving evidence in court.
