We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cancer MDT Coordinator at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage the Cancer Centre Multi-Disciplinary Service, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among team members.
- Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, report writing, and document management.
- Identify and resolve blockages or concerns in patient pathways, recommending solutions and changes to improve service delivery and compliance.
- Work closely with the team to develop and implement process improvements, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure smooth communication and coordination of patient care.
- Good standard of secondary education with literacy and numeracy skills demonstrable to GSCE pass level or equivalent standard.
- Administrative and organisational experience in a healthcare environment.
- Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience in a coordination role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
