We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Veolia ES (UK) LIMITED. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
- Conduct regular maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of specialist subcontractors as needed.
- Perform risk assessments and ensure that all maintenance tasks are carried out in accordance with site EHS and Veolia EHS rules and guidelines.
- Update maintenance task lists and ensure that all work is properly documented.
- Participate in audits of the air conditioning plant and follow up on actions to ensure continuous improvement.
- Prepare and manage quotations and works approvals for maintenance tasks.
- Take ownership of maintaining plant assets and F-gas registers.
- Participate in a standby on-call rota to ensure 24/7 coverage.
- Recognized trade qualification in refrigeration and air-conditioning or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar role with a good understanding of the basic fundamentals of various utilities systems.
- Willingness to expand working knowledge into mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience with Building Management Systems and Preventive Maintenance Systems.
- Ability to work within a Computerised Maintenance Management Work Order system environment.
- Troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems, with related mechanical experience a distinct advantage.
