Job Title: Senior Credit Risk Analyst

Job Summary:

IQ Risk is seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for underwriting new business applications and credit limit increase requests, delivering timely decisions within SLA and in accordance with Credit Risk Policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite new business applications and credit limit increase requests, delivering timely decisions within SLA and in accordance with Credit Risk Policy.
  • Review historic credit decisions based on irresponsible lending complaints from customers and provide summaries and recommendations to the complaints team.
  • Clearly articulate and document the rationale for all decisions made.
  • Ensure that all customers receive the same high level of service & communications are clear.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years in experience of underwriting Consumer Credit
  • Good knowledge of the consumer credit industry and of the consumer credit customer life cycle.
  • Awareness of regulatory requirements and of the FCA Handbook.
  • Ability to use multiple sources of information to make informed, judgemental decisions.
  • Very Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient IT skills and competent in Microsoft Office
