Job Title: BI Technical Project Manager

As a BI Technical Project Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects or IT work streams of business projects to agreed time, cost, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop project scope and objectives, identifying and evaluating options for project delivery and preparing project documentation and plans.
  • Ensure that IT solution requirements are defined, delivered, and monitored, and that quality control procedures are used correctly.
  • Establish the IT solution delivery project team's working methods, develop schedules and work packages, and manage hand-over of responsibility for the IT solution to business-as-usual support.
  • Make decisions that impact the success of assigned projects, including results, deadlines, and budget.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, collect and use feedback to measure effectiveness, and implement a communications strategy.
  • Take full responsibility for the definition and entire management of projects from start to finish, including costs, schedule, resources, risks, quality, testing, documentation, and change management.
  • Provide effective leadership to the project team and take appropriate action where team performance deviates from agreed tolerances.
  • Develop and manage contracts with suppliers to meet key performance indicators and agreed targets, taking account of information security of third parties.
Requirements:
  • Significant previous experience in an IT-focused role, with 5+ years' experience managing or influencing technical staff and projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or related field, with a Master's degree desirable or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Project Management certification (PMP or CAPM) from PMI, and Scrum Master Certification.
