About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Supervisor to join our team at Wren Kitchens. The successful candidate will work closely with our Site HSE Manager to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on legislative compliance, health and safety policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety management systems to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and safe systems of work reviews to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Provide training and mentorship to employees on health and safety best practices and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of health and safety performance, including incident reports and near-miss investigations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of health and safety excellence throughout the organization.
  • Ensure that all operational activities are carried out in accordance with health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement effective KPIs to measure health and safety performance and identify areas for improvement.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Supervisor who possesses a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering health and safety initiatives and a passion for promoting a culture of safety excellence.

Desired Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proven experience in health and safety management, including risk assessment, incident investigation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective health and safety management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification in health and safety.
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001 and other relevant health and safety standards.
