Role Overview

As an Airside Passenger Transport Driver, you'll play a vital role in facilitating the safe and efficient movement of passengers with reduced mobility (PRM) within our airport environment. You'll operate specialized vehicles to transport PRMs between aircraft and terminal buildings, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough daily vehicle inspections, adhering to safety protocols and reporting any issues promptly.
  • Safely operate a range of vehicles, including minibuses and rigid trucks, navigating the airfield with precision and awareness.
  • Provide assistance to PRMs boarding and disembarking aircraft, utilizing safe manual handling techniques.
  • Collaborate with airport staff and passengers, ensuring clear communication and a positive travel experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of passenger movements and vehicle operations using provided technology.

Requirements

  • Previous driving experience, particularly with larger vehicles, is highly desirable.
  • A valid UK driving license is essential for this role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for interacting with passengers and colleagues.
