Aviation Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Aviation Security Officer to join our team at Wilson James. As a key member of our security team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers, staff, and airport personnel.
Key Responsibilities- Screen all passengers to the required standards, ensuring the highest level of security and safety.
- Conduct X-Ray screening and searches of cabin and hold baggage to prevent prohibited items from entering the airport.
- Control access to the aerodrome, ensuring only authorized personnel have access.
- Carry out foot patrols of airside and landside locations to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Respond to and assist with emergency situations, providing a calm and professional response.
- Conduct body searches on female passengers and staff members, maintaining a high level of dignity and respect.
- A competitive hourly rate of £10.60, with opportunities for increases based on experience and certifications.

- Able to pass a CRC, Access NI, and CTC check as part of the airside pass application.
- Able to pass a colour-blind test.
