We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Organic Growth team at Polaris, a leading community of children's service providers. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving our plans to develop new schools to provide outstanding education to our young people across our Community.
Key Responsibilities- Support the identification of potential new sites proactively and efficiently.
- Manage the establishment of new schools from purchase through to opening, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the production of, and subsequently monitor, planning applications.
- Ensure all construction and refurbishments are in accordance with the Building Safety Act.
- Manage projects to agreed timeframes and budgets, minimizing project downtime and ensuring well-resourced contractor base.
- Assess and procure all required works for new buildings, adhering to relevant Health and Safety regulations, Building Safety Act, and Independent Schools Standards.
- Work closely with education specialists to ensure regulatory compliance (Ofsted, LA, etc.) is in place to ensure schools open within scheduled timescales.
- Develop and maintain project plans and reporting documentation to ensure timely communication and successful delivery of assigned projects.
- 1-5 years post-Project Management qualification experience (all levels of post-qualification experience will be considered).
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of RICS requirements and all relevant legislation.
- Proven excellent project management and interpersonal skills.
- Previous line management experience in a similar role.
- Experience in stakeholder management and budgets.
- Possess a full valid driving license.
