Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team at Pro-Tax Recruitment. As a VAT Expert, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all VAT-related matters for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage VAT Compliance: Oversee and manage all VAT-related matters for a diverse portfolio of clients, including advisory and compliance.
  • Provide Expert Advice: Provide expert advice on VAT issues, including cross-border transactions, supply chain structuring, and VAT planning.
  • Liaise with HMRC: Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, managing VAT audits and inspections.
  • Review and Prepare VAT Returns: Review and prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with the latest VAT regulations and legislation.
  • Identify VAT Savings: Identify opportunities for VAT savings and efficiency improvements for clients.
  • Build Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay up to date with changes in VAT legislation and communicate these to clients and internal teams.
  • Mentor and Develop: Mentor and develop junior members of the tax team, sharing knowledge and best practices.
