Job Summary

We are seeking a VAT Manager or Senior Manager to join our team, providing VAT advisory and compliance services to a wide range of corporate clients. The successful candidate will have significant understanding of and previous experience with VAT compliance, as well as a good knowledge of VAT technical areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring the continued growth of the business
  • Provide assistance to senior members of staff in client work and group management
  • Pro-actively manage workload, communicating with senior managers/directors/partners on a regular basis
  • Identify and highlight opportunities to develop new work

Requirements

  • Significant understanding of and previous experience with VAT compliance
  • Good knowledge of VAT technical areas
  • Responsibility for VAT compliance for own portfolio
  • Strong understanding and previous use of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience using an accounting/compliance software platform
  • Ability to manage a large and varied client portfolio
  • Ability to actively seek opportunities for selling new services to existing clients
  • Experience of dealing direct with Tax Authorities
  • Experience of dealing with client senior management and key stakeholders
