Job Description

About the Role

At Alan Mitchell, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Finance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our ECM Advisory team, you will be responsible for providing financial modeling, documentation, and transaction support for our clients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support M&A and private capital advisory transactions, including dilution/accretion analysis and enlarged group forecast models.
  • Documentation: Prepare and review term sheets, SPAs, and other corporate finance documents.
  • Transaction Support: Assist in the search for buyers and sellers, and provide support for transaction execution, including due diligence and deal documentation.

Private Capital Advisory:

  • Sourcing Financing: Identify and engage with private capital funders, including credit, minority, and growth equity funds.
  • Marketing Materials: Develop teasers, management presentations, and other marketing materials to support private capital advisory transactions.
  • Transaction Execution: Assist in the structuring and execution of private debt and private equity transactions, including due diligence and deal documentation.

Equity Capital Markets:

  • Initial and Secondary Offerings: Support the preparation and execution of initial and secondary equity offerings on AIM and the Main Market.
  • Admission Documents: Assist in the drafting of admission documents and prospectuses.
  • Corporate Finance Documentation: Prepare and review other corporate finance documents, including engagement letters and NDAs.

Requirements:

  • Professional Qualification: Hold a professional qualification, such as the ACA, or have 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Self-Starter: Be a self-motivated and proactive individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Organizational and IT Literacy Skills: Have good organizational and IT literacy skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
