About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Lecturer to join our team at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute. As an Academic Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the fields of Greek, Latin, and Sanskrit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and examine students in the modules listed below, providing lectures, seminars, and classes as necessary.
  • Create new module material where required.
  • Examine students, including those from other institutions when necessary.
  • Provide Extended Essay supervision to undergraduate students where applicable.
  • Offer personal tutoring to undergraduate students.
Modules

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the following modules:

  • Intermediate Greek A
  • Beginners Latin B
  • Introductory Sanskrit
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a PhD in a relevant area and the ability to teach students to a high academic standard. You should also have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be flexible and responsive to the changing education environment.
