Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the formulation of personalized education plans for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Facilitate learning activities for students, both in group settings and individually.
  • Provide support with personal care needs as required.
  • Help foster a nurturing and inclusive educational atmosphere.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for students.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Experience working with children or individuals with SEND is essential.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection guidelines.
Educational Background:

A relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs is highly desirable.

Experience:

Previous experience in an educational environment with SEND students or personal experience with SEND individuals is preferred.

Preferred Certifications:
  • Teaching Assistant certification or equivalent.
