About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hospitality Assistant to join our team at Maplewood Court. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional hospitality services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with meal service in resident rooms and dining rooms, ensuring a high standard of quality and presentation.
  • Ensure water and drink jugs are regularly refilled in resident rooms, promoting a comfortable and welcoming environment.
  • Help set up and clear down tables before and after lunch service, maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
  • Maintain temperature records of fridges and service stations in the dining rooms, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Stock and maintain the Bistro to ensure a professional offering, fully stocked and ready for service.
  • Attend to residents' non-care related needs, such as opening and closing curtains, changing TV channels, and other tasks that promote their comfort and well-being.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a luxurious setting, preferably in a care home environment.
  • A 'can-do' attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with the care team to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Customer-facing experience, including building working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
