About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist to join our team at Client Server. As an Application Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our proprietary trading systems built with C#.Net.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 3rd line support for our trading systems, including front office order management and decision-making tools, and back office trade reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with software developers, testers, and BAs to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
  • Work closely with 3rd party data providers to resolve data-related issues.
  • Provide direct support to the business, gathering information, providing feedback, and progress updates following an incident through to resolution.
  • Mentor and support junior team members to progress their careers.
Requirements
  • Commercial Application Support experience, ideally within a Fixed Income or trading environment.
  • Strong technical skills with SQL, PowerShell, and/or Python scripting.
  • Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative and excellent communication skills.
  • Degree educated in Computer Science or similar technical discipline.
