Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of new electrical systems and equipment, both Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV)
  • Modification and rewiring of existing electrical setups, LV and HV
  • Maintenance, repair, and servicing of electrical components in industrial machinery and associated controls
  • Prompt and safe troubleshooting of electrical issues
  • Adherence to electrical codes and safety regulations
  • Interpreting technical documents and blueprints for decision-making
  • Conducting quality assurance testing and inspections
  • Collaborating with team members and other departments regarding electrical challenges and solutions
  • Ensuring compliance with established procedures

Required Experience:

  • Testing and inspection experience at an industrial level
  • Proficiency in 18th edition electrical installations
  • Relevant technical experience in the electrical field
  • Experience with industrial electrical systems
  • Ability to work at heights

Qualifications and Skills:

  • City & Guilds 2391 certification in electrical inspection and installation
  • Relevant technical qualifications such as City and Guilds, BTEC ONC (NQF Level 3)
  • JIB certification or equivalent recognized credentials
