Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial and renewable sectors.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present tailored proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with project and engineering teams to ensure client requirements are met.
  • Conduct market research and stay informed on industry trends to identify potential growth areas.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, track progress, and provide regular updates to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the Power Distribution, Renewable Energy, and I&C sectors.
  • Previously worked for an ICP, Utilities, HV Power Distribution company.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a focus on long-term partnerships.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A full UK driving licence is required due to regular travel to client sites.
