Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at Right People. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional desktop support services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective support to clients via phone, email, and on-site visits.
  • Work closely with our IT team to resolve desktop-related issues and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Proactively monitor call queues to ensure all incidents and service requests are progressed and updated through to completion.
  • Collaborate with our IT Service Desk to ensure incident and service request tickets are recorded and tracked as necessary.
  • Participate in office moves to ensure IT equipment is moved safely and re-commissioned as required by the business.
  • Help manage the on-site inventory of IT equipment and spares, ensuring necessary asset and configuration records are updated and maintained.

Requirements:

  • Experience in an SLA-driven, ticketed Service Desk or 1st/2nd Line role.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and functions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • ITIL Foundation V4 qualification or working towards.
