We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Health Care Assistant and Administrator to join our team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the HIV Service, ensuring the smooth running of the department and providing a high level of care to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the HIV Service, including reception duties, typing patient letters, and managing calls and emails.
- Assist qualified nursing staff to deliver direct and indirect quality clinical care to patients under the care of the HIV Service.
- Deal with telephone calls and enquiries from the public, internal and external sources, and other healthcare providers, ensuring that they are dealt with accurately, in a timely, polite, and courteous manner.
- Work within Trust and Department standards and policies, ensuring confidentiality of information relating to patients, relatives, and staff.
- Assist or participate in the training of staff, including temporary staff, and provide patients with information about the department and specified procedures as necessary.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
