About the Job:

As a Highway Design Engineer or Senior Highway Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and delivering highway infrastructure projects, including cycleways and other transportation systems.
  • Working with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Collaborating with our team of experts to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments and best practices, including DMRB, TSRGD, Traffic Signs Manual, and Manual for Streets.
  • Using design software such as CAD/Civil 3D/KeySign & KeyLines to create detailed designs and models.

Requirements:

  • UK experience within a public, private, or third-sector UK-based client.
  • Demonstratable skills and experience in highway design and/or cycleways design.
  • Competency in the use of DMRB, TSRGD, Traffic Signs Manual, Manual for Streets, and other local authority standards.
  • Relevant design software experience, including CAD/Civil 3D/KeySign & KeyLines.
  • A full UK driving licence.
