About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Highway Design Engineer to join our team at Waterman Aspen. As a Senior Highway Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop highway infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with local authority standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve project delivery and outcomes.

Requirements

  • UK experience in highway design and infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrable skills and experience in highway design software, including CAD/Civil 3D/KeySign & KeyLines.
  • Competency in the use of DMRB, TSRGD, Traffic Signs Manual, Manual for Streets, and other local authority standards.
  • A full UK driving license.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Knowledge of LTN 1/20.
  • Knowledge and experience of NEC Contracts.
