About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Highway Engineer or Senior Highway Engineer to join our team at Waterman Aspen. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects and providing expert advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop highway infrastructure projects, including cycleways and pedestrian routes
  2. Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements
  5. Contribute to the development of our team's skills and knowledge, sharing expertise and experience with colleagues

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in highway design and infrastructure projects, with a strong understanding of UK regulations and standards
  2. Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in CAD/Civil 3D/KeySign & KeyLines software
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to project delivery
  5. Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  1. Knowledge of LTN 1/20 and NEC Contracts
