About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Highway Engineer to join our team at Waterman Aspen.

As a key member of our West Midlands team, you will work on a variety of projects for our clients, applying and developing your skills in Highways and Cycleways Design.

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, including local authorities, consultancies, and construction companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver high-quality highway projects, ensuring compliance with local authority standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to colleagues, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our services and deliver exceptional results.
Requirements
  • UK experience in public, private, or third-sector UK-based clients.
  • Demonstratable skills and experience in Highways and/or Cycleways Design.
  • Competency in the use of DMRB, TSRGD, Traffic Signs Manual, Manual for Streets, and other local authority standards.
  • Relevant design software experience, such as CAD/Civil 3D/KeySign & KeyLines.
  • A full UK driving licence.
