Adult Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Practitioner to join our Assertive Outreach West team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with clients who have severe and enduring mental illness, providing person-centred targeted support to aid their holistic recovery.
Main Responsibilities- Provide clinical/management supervision to junior staff
- Develop specialist programmes of care for individual or groups of patients/clients
- Apply the philosophies of engagement and recovery in work with service users
- Complete regular clinics, including depot, Olanzapine, and physical health assessments
- Significant post-registration experience within mental health services
- Knowledge of the legislative framework within which Mental Health Practitioners work
- Clear understanding of the function of a rehabilitation service and therapeutic interventions used within
- Ability to use IT systems to undertake Care Coordinator duties
