LEGAL SECRETARY POSITION
FOCUS ON CONVEYANCING
LOCATION: BOURNEMOUTH
SALARY: NEGOTIABLE BASED ON EXPERIENCE
Our client is looking for a motivated and skilled legal secretary to join their Residential Team in Bournemouth, providing essential support to a senior fee-earner.
While prior conveyancing experience is not mandatory, candidates should possess a solid background as a Legal Secretary, as comprehensive training will be offered.
The successful applicant will assist lawyers at various levels within the team, demonstrating proficiency in IT and the ability to handle a diverse range of tasks. Responsibilities will include:
- General secretarial duties such as filing, typing, and document production.
- Management of files and diaries, including opening, closing, and billing processes.
- General office administration tasks.
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
- A strong understanding and practical knowledge of Microsoft software packages, with the ability to produce and edit various legal documents and agreements.
- Experience with modern document management systems (familiarity with Proclaim and iManage is advantageous).
- Excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
