As our organization expands, we are in search of a proactive and skilled PMO Specialist to contribute significantly to our project initiatives.

The PMO Specialist will oversee all facets of the onboarding process for new personnel within our client's workforce. This encompasses establishing accounts within the client's systems, ensuring compliance with security protocols, and managing access and permissions for all new, transitioning, and departing employees.
Additionally, responsibilities will include providing support for resource and budget management, ensuring precise forecasting and reporting.

This hybrid position will primarily be office-based, with occasional flexibility for remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver independent oversight and assurance to facilitate the effective and successful execution of projects in line with various contractual agreements.
  • Track project advancement, identify potential risks, and implement corrective measures to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain thorough project documentation.
  • Utilize corporate tools, such as Jet, to generate management information reports.
  • Act as a central liaison for project stakeholders, providing regular updates.
  • Manage the RAID framework and associated processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in PMO roles, ideally within the Defence Sector.
  • Proficiency in financial forecasting tools.
  • Familiarity with the RAID framework.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information across various business units.
  • Strong analytical abilities and knowledge of contemporary problem-solving techniques.
  • Understanding of project management tools related to budgeting, planning, and risk management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in line management or team leadership.
  • Relevant certifications such as AIPMO, P3O Practitioner, PRINCE2, APM PMQ, or House of PMO.
  • Familiarity with SAFE, JET, ProjectView, and iQ.
