About the Role

The Technology Enabled Care Team at Bury Council is seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join their team as a Technology Enabled Care Support Specialist. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in providing technological solutions to support vulnerable individuals in living independently at home.

The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and processing referrals, communicating with customers and their representatives, setting up and programming digital solutions, and conducting associated administration tasks. Previous experience of assisting vulnerable people and excellent communication skills are essential. Training will be provided for the necessary computer applications, but experience with Windows-based applications is desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and processing referrals for Technology Enabled Care services
  • Communicating with customers and their representatives to understand their needs and preferences
  • Setting up and programming digital solutions to support independent living
  • Conducting associated administration tasks, including data entry and record-keeping
