Job Opportunity at Anderson Green Ltd

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Anderson Green Ltd, a leading privately owned Building Services Consultancy.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide technical support and expertise by working with our team of building services designers and Revit Technicians on a wide range of projects across various market sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise professionally with clients, professional teams, contractors, and staff of all levels
  • Lead a small mixed discipline team of Revit and building service engineers and administration support staff
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current industry regulatory and design standards
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineering staff and apprentices
  • Assist with the setting of design strategy
  • Quality assurance of documents, design, and drawings
  • Attend client, design team, and project meetings
  • Undertake feasibility studies and surveys
  • Prepare load calculations and apply for utility connections
  • Produce detailed mechanical services design
  • Review sub-contractor design drawings and technical submissions
  • Conduct site quality and legislative inspections and prepare associated reports
  • Coordinate design with colleagues from other disciplines
Requirements
  • Degree or HNC/D in a relevant subject or equivalent
  • Experience of a similar role
  • Proficient with relevant industry design software
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work as a team player and individually
  • Full UK driving license
