Job Title: Graduate Mechanical/Design Engineer

Location: Nottingham

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience

About the Role:

Premier Group is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Nottingham. As a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for working within the current engineering team with other Design Engineers to see through design projects from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop mechanical products using CAD software, such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, and AutoCAD.
  2. Produce technical drawings and documentation for design projects.
  3. Liaise with manufacturing providers to ensure timely and cost-effective production.
  4. Work collaboratively with the engineering team to develop and implement design solutions.
  5. Contribute to the development of the company's design and engineering capabilities.
Requirements:
  1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Proficiency in CAD software and experience with mechanical design.
  3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  4. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
