Role Overview:

Conspicuous, a prominent entity in the retail industry, is on the lookout for a dedicated and motivated PR and Communications Assistant to become a vital part of their vibrant marketing team. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for individuals keen to embark on a career in Public Relations and Influencer Marketing, providing essential support across a range of stimulating projects.

Key Duties:

  • Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between Conspicuous and its PR agency, overseeing press office inquiries and incoming media opportunities across various channels.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside multiple teams to ensure the maximization of PR opportunities across all platforms.
  • Reporting: Consistently document and assess press coverage, compiling and distributing weekly reports on PR and influencer activities.
  • Influencer Engagement: Assist in the recruitment of influencers and support the development of influencer briefs to showcase new products and campaigns.
  • Internal Communications: Act as the initial point of contact for store personnel regarding inquiries related to PR or influencer initiatives.
  • Marketing Support: Aid in the management of internal marketing campaign schedules, corporate communications, and award submissions.
  • Administrative Tasks: Oversee product requests, distribute influencer materials, manage contracts and usage rights, process invoices, and schedule meetings.
  • Task Oversight: Ensure timely and accurate completion of all assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications:


• Early-stage career in PR or marketing, with experience in a PR agency or relevant qualifications.


• Eager learner with a strong interest in marketing, PR, and influencer strategies.


• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.


• Strong organizational skills and effective personal time management.


• Confident in interactions with colleagues, external agencies, and clients.


• Proactive mindset, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.


• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).


• Interest in social media and influencer dynamics.
