Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced radiographer to join our dynamic team at the Oxford Centre for Clinical Magnetic Resonance Research (OCMR). As a key member of our imaging team, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe, efficient, and effective MR scanning service for cardiovascular, liver, and neuro-imaging research protocols.

Main Duties
  • Work effectively as part of the MRI team to provide a comprehensive and diagnostic imaging service.
  • Independently assess each patient and adapt techniques according to their needs.
  • Contribute to the working environment to ensure patients receive optimum care.
  • Be responsible for the safe use of expensive diagnostic imaging equipment.
Working for Our Organisation

The cardiology department at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford is a major provider of cardiac care in South East England. We are a busy and friendly department seeking a senior radiographer to support our clinical cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) service.

You will be an integral part of a dynamic team in a world-renowned CMR centre, providing a tertiary centre service for the John Radcliffe and surrounding hospitals. There may be opportunities to support imaging research projects and further study.

Informal visits to the unit are strongly encouraged.
