Job Summary:

Atlas Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Apprentice Pipefitter to join our team. As an Apprentice Pipefitter, you will be responsible for assisting experienced pipefitters in the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipework systems on ships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipework systems, including domestic plumbing and composite pipework.
  2. Work under the guidance of experienced pipefitters to develop skills and knowledge in pipework systems and materials.
  3. Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge and skills in pipefitting and maintenance.
  4. Contribute to the efficient operation of the ship's pipework systems.

Requirements:

  1. NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
  2. Sound knowledge of pipework systems, materials, and equipment.
  3. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  4. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early and back shifts.

Benefits:

  1. Overtime opportunities with a shift allowance.
  2. Flexible Working Scheme (FWS) contract with yearly reviews.
  3. Contract hours with opportunities for shift work and overtime.

Shift Details:

  1. Early shift: 06:00 - 14:00 (includes 30-minute lunch break paid and 15% uplift on hourly rate).
  2. Back shift: 14:00 - 22:00 (includes 30-minute lunch break paid and 25% uplift on hourly rate).

Additional Information:
