Lead Property Underwriting Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to become a part of our team as a Property Underwriter. If you possess a strong enthusiasm for underwriting and an exceptional attention to detail, this role may be an excellent fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate new and renewal Property insurance applications, adhering to established protocols and consulting with supervisors when necessary.
- Effectively oversee property insurance portfolios, including tracking performance metrics and claims patterns.
- Maintain existing insurance contracts and implement modifications as required.
- Build and nurture relationships with clients and brokers to drive new business opportunities.
- Assess documentation and pricing to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Track premium revenue and geographical aggregates to mitigate risks.
- Support risk management assessments and provide assistance to colleagues.
- In-depth understanding of Underwriting and Legal Principles.
- Knowledge of FCA / PRA and Lloyd's regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in UK, US, and global property insurance markets.
- Strong market insight and relationship-building capabilities.
- Capacity to adapt and learn swiftly, even if your background does not meet all specified criteria.
