Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at Culina Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff to ensure the efficient and effective management of our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and motivate the warehouse team to achieve productivity and service KPIs
- Ensure the highest levels of health, safety, and hygiene are maintained in the warehouse
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to keep the team informed and engaged
- Manage the Goods Inwards area to ensure timely and accurate receipt of goods
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge
- Monitor and control sickness absence levels and conduct return-to-work interviews
- Monitor and control the time and attendance system
- Ensure the appropriate levels of overtime and agency workers are in place
- Enforce and adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Monitor and control training for the team, ensuring the correct levels of health and safety representation
Requirements:
- Computer literate with knowledge of Excel
- Confident in dealing with people at all levels
- Adaptable and methodical approach to work and training
- Conscientious and reliable
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
- Effective prioritization of workload to meet set deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team or individually
- Professional, approachable, and helpful
- Proactive approach and ability to make decisions
