Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Radiographer Specialist CT/MRI to join our team at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our radiography department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality imaging services to our patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rotate through the department, undertaking unsupervised procedures in CT and MRI modalities, ensuring high-quality images and excellent patient care.
  • Perform all clinical examinations to the highest standards, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assist and advise radiographers, assistant practitioners, and radiographic aides as needed, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Participate in weekend and weekday shifts, including occasional overnight shifts and Bank Holidays, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.
  • Maintain clean, tidy, and appropriately equipped rooms/areas, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Be familiar with all departmental clinical protocols and procedures for all modalities, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in radiography.
Requirements
  • Degree in Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  • State registration as a Radiographer.
  • Minimum 2 years post-registration experience, with a strong background in CT and/or MRI.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
