Electrical Team Leader Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Team Leader to join our team at Gap Construction. As a key member of our electrical services team, you will be responsible for leading a team of electrical engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers and technicians to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments, and method statements to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge and skills to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in electrical engineering and project management, preferably in a construction or infrastructure environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of electrical engineers and technicians.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines to manage.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
