Role Purpose

The Account Manager German Speaking role at HSBC is a key position in our Global Banking and Markets division. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service support to high-valued Global Liquidity and Cash Management clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and resolve day-to-day queries from clients in a timely and efficient manner
  • Encourage clients to utilize digital self-service tools to improve their experience
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders, including Sales, Relationship Managers, Product Management, and Operations
  • Collaborate with the Client Service Team Leader to identify and introduce service improvements that enhance the overall client experience
  • Interact with other global units, including clients, global service teams, Sales, Product Management, and other elements of Client Management
Requirements
  • Fluent in German language, both written and oral
  • Ability to work under pressure within pre-defined SLA's
  • Take ownership of issues and liaise with relevant parties to make informed decisions based on experience and information to hand
  • Proactive and prepared to investigate issues off own initiative with the minimum of information
  • Experience of planning and prioritizing own time effectively, aware of responsibilities and committed to delivering these efficiently
Location

The base location for this role will be Edinburgh Park, Edinburgh, with hybrid working arrangements.
